Is there a Virtual Option for the Santa Monica Classic?

At this time there will not be a Virtual Option for the 2022 Santa Monica Classic. We did have a virtual option for the 2021 event that ended in January.

What is the deadline to complete my race virtually?

If you participated in the 2021 Virtual event, the deadline to receive proof for round 2 of the 2021 Santa Monica Classic Virtual is January 31, 2021.

How do I submit my Virtual results?

You will receive a link in your Confirmation Email with a link and instructions to submit your time and distance with a screenshot of your completed run from a tracking app or GPS watch.

When will I receive my athlete package for my virtual participation?

Packages will start mailing on February 1, 2022. Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery. We do not ship to international locations.

What is included in the 2021 Santa Monica Virtual?

All participants of the 2021 Santa Monica Virtual 5K or 10K will receive the official participant t-shirt, finisher medal, and bib.

What Bonus Medals will the Virtual Option count towards?

The 2021 Santa Monica Classic Virtual option will count to the 2022 Conquer LA Challenge and 2022 Triple 5K Tour of LA.

Are virtual runners eligible for awards?

Virtual runners are not eligible for awards.

When is the 2022 Santa Monica Classic?

The 2022 Santa Monica Classic will take place on September 11, 2022. Registration will ope on February 8.

How does the 2022 Santa Monica Classic play into bonus medals like Conquer LA Challenge or Triple 5K Tour of LA?

It will count to the 2023 Triple 5K Tour of LA and 2022 Conquer LA Challenge medals

Where is the event?

Start Line: Barnard & Ocean Park Blvd. Finish is Ocean & Colorado

When and where do I pick up my event race bib?

Bibs will be available to pick up the day before the race and on race day at the Start Line

How can I make a change to my registration information (i.e. misspelling, address, e-mail, T-shirt size)?

What is the distance of the course?

There is a 5 kilometer course (approximately 3.1 miles) and a 10 kilometer course (approximately 6.2 miles).

Where do I wear my bib?

Bibs must be fastened to the front of your body on either your shirt or shorts/pants using the provided safety pins.

When and where can I see my race results?

You can find results on our Results page.

Where do I park on race day?

Parking is available on race day at all Santa Monica parking garages, at the Santa Monica Pier, and Santa Monica Beach Parking lots (4S, 5S, 1N) which are all near and walking distance from the Start and Finish Line. You may find locations and pricing by visiting the city of Santa Monica website.

Will there be food/drinks available on the course? At the finish line?

Water will be available on course and water and NUUN will be available post event.

Are skates, bikes, or pets allowed on the course?

No skates, bikes or pets are allowed on the course.
