Charity Challenge 13.1
The Charity Challenge 13.1 is a half marathon within the Los Angeles Marathon and available only to Charity Runners.
There are three ways to be part of the Charity Challenge 13.1 this year:
- Join Team TMF: register and receive a FREE bib with a commitment to fundraising $650 for The McCourt Foundation. In addition to a bib, you'll receive: Finisher medal, participant t-shirt, exclusive Team TMF t-shirt, access to a private Finish Festival area, and more!
- Run for another non-profit charity that you believe in! Click here to find a charity that is close to your heart.
- Charity Challenge 13.1 Donation Registration: register and receive a finisher medal, participant t-shirt, and for a portion of your registration fee receive a tax deductible donation to The McCourt Foundation.

Charity Challenge participants start at the Marathon start line at Dodger Stadium, then merge into the marathon course near Mile 6 and run the Official Marathon Course for Miles 6 through 18. All Charity Challenge Half Marathon participants will turn left to finish on Avenue of the Stars as the marathon participants continue on for their remaining 13Mile out and back.
Participants must pickup their Charity Challenge bib and t-shirt at the Los Angeles Marathon Health & Fitness Expo on Friday or Saturday prior to the event.
Please note, there is NO gear check for the Charity Challenge. (Marathon Gear Check closes at 7am). Please consider running with a small waist belt to hold your necessities.
Start time is 8:15am. Runners who start before the authorized time will be disqualified and not eligible for any Charity Challenge competitions.
Shuttles to the Charity Challenge Start Line will be available from Century City. (The shuttle departure times are 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM).
Participants should arrive at Dodger Stadium by 7:30 AM.
